About Us

Ilya Neyman

American Weather & Hydrology, LLC

Ilya Neyman,  Meteorology Student (Univ. of Oklahoma), Weather Forecasting Apprentice, and Severe Storms Photographer.

EDUCATION.  Ilya is a senior at the University of Oklahoma, 2007-2008, majoring in Meteorology.  He learns very rapidly through his academics and through his enthusiastic and very receptive contact with the meteorological world outside of school.

EXPERIENCE.  Mr. Neyman has been on numerous storm chases in the Great Plans and has photographed tornadoes, lightning, and other severe weather phenomena.  He has delivered illustrated talks to the American Meteorological Society with the professionalism of a highly experienced television weather forecaster.  He has prepared professional weather forecasts for California Weather & Earth Sciences, LLC with very little training required.

Mr. Neyman has testified in a court trial as an eyewitness to a major storm that he personally experienced while he was a high school student, but he has observed, documented, and analyzed this storm with the skills of a top meteorological expert witness.

FUTURE PLANS.  Ilya Neyman plans to attend graduate school in pursuit of Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Meteorology just as soon as he earns his Bachelor's.  He has the potential of becoming a top meteorologist within a very few years.

Mr. Neyman is a member of the American Meteorological Society.
